Making the Brown Leather Chair
Monocle is a great tool for capturing furniture objects. First I started by capturing a “Ground Scan”, which uses the floor for reference. Then I download a copy of the OBJ, and load it into Blender. The texture painting tools in Blender are now getting impressively good, and fairly easy to learn too. The polished up texture is saved, replacing the original.
Finally the USDZ is created using Xcode’s USDZ Converter.
