Steampunk Digital collaborated with FabLab Dazaifu and provided service for 「3D scanning experience and printing service」
The reason why Steampunk Digital participated in this project is to support a new service by Fablab Dazaifu, who provides the place where everybody can enjoy manufacturing.
Steampunk Digital provided the Monocle 3D Structure Sensor application for the technicians at FabLab Dazaifu to use in their production workflow.
Participants could choose to scan the upper-bust or whole body, upload to the Monocle Cloud server, send to the participant by email. They could later view the 3D model online. If the participant wanted, FabLab Dazaifu was able to take the 3D model data and create a 3D print of various sizes.
